PNB IMPS (Immediate Payment Service) facilitates instant Inter Bank fund transfer on 24*7*365 basis.

To transfer funds, you just need the beneficiary’s mobile number & MMID or Account number and IFSC or Mobile number & beneficiary Bank name.

Can a customer receive remittance using the mobile number other than the one registered with the bank?
The customer can receive funds only through the registered mobile number.

What is MMID?
Mobile Money Identification Number (MMID) is a seven digit unique number for an account, out of which the first four digits are the unique identification number of the bank offering IMPS. To receive money, you just need to share mobile number and MMID with the sender. The MMID can be generated by PNB customers through Mobile banking and Internet banking.

What is the transaction limit for IMPS in PNB?
The maximum limit is Rs. 5,00,000/- per transaction. You may restrict your exposure by setting your per transaction/ per day limits through Internet banking or PNB ONE.
What beneficiary details are required to transfer funds through IMPS?

How long does it take for the funds to be credited into the beneficiary account?
Funds are transferred on real time basis without any delay

How does the remitter come to know that his account is debited and funds have been credited in the beneficiary`s account?
The remitting bank sends a confirmation message to the remitting customer about the transaction initiated by him / her as per SMS Alert policy.

How does a beneficiary come to know of funds being credited to his / her banks account?
The beneficiary bank sends a confirmation message to the beneficiary customer informing him / her of the credit in the account as per SMS Alert policy.

My account has been debited but beneficiary has not received the funds?
Do not worry! The funds will be settled by the next working day. In case of further issues, please lodge a complaint through our 24*7 call center or through our website pnb.bank.in -> Customer Care or by visiting branch
